Mr. Singh has attended and appeared in several Arbitration petition/Application under section 8, section 11, section 14 read with section 15, section 29A, section 34 and Section 36 of A&C Act, 1996. He has assisted and represented foreign clients in commercial disputes before various District courts and High Courts. Further, he has assisted and represented the renowned educational institutions such as Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), South Asian University (SAU) and Sports Authority of India (SAI) before various Courts and handled construction arbitration before the Arbitral Tribunal comprising a sole Arbitrator, i.e. retired judge of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, arising out of civil work for the IIFT’s Kolkata Campus and before the Arbitral Tribunal comprising a sole Arbitrator, i.e. retired judge of Hon’ble Guwahati High Court and Hon’ble Delhi High Court and various Arbitral Tribunals. He assisted in disputes arisen between the Hong Kong and India based contractors involved in the development of structures and related work in the commonwealth games 2010.
Mr. Singh has also, assisted in various construction Arbitration matters such as disputes arisen between the parties under a Concession Agreement for the operation and maintenance of the Four Laning section to be executed as BOT (Toll) Project on DBFOT (Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer) basis. He has Coordinated with foreign clients and filed their claims in Indian Courts and managed to get the summons for taking evidence under Hague Convention issued to a company on the basis of letters of request/Rogatory and also assisted a foreign firm in taking evidence.
